Frenchmans Buck, sired by Frenchmans Guy, a leading barrel futurity sire in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 and the only stallion sharing the 2008 Top 10 Barrel Futurity Sire List with an own Son. His progeny has earnings in excess of $2 Million.

Frenchmans Buck competed at Red Deer in the Working Cow Horse Futurity as a 3 yr old and then began his career in barrel racing. Frenchmans Buck placed 3rd in the Average in the Amateur Division at the 5-State Barrel Futurity in Rapid City, SD in September 2004. Rusty Quam had a great run on Frenchie at Rodeo Royal in Calgary but a tipped barrel took her out of the money. Rusty also ran him at the Diamond N Futurity & Derby for a 3rd place finish in the 1st go and 8th in the average. Frenchmans Buck's offspring are starting to prove themselves in the rodeo arena and also in the roping arena.

Frenchie injured his stifle at Hamiota rodeo in April 2008 so he was sidelined for the rest of the season. We are hopeful that Frenchie will be able to compete again in 2009.
