Frenchmans Buck, sired by Frenchmans Guy, a leading barrel futurity sire in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. His progeny has earnings in excess of $700,000. Frenchmans Buck competed at Red Deer in the Working Cow Horse Futurity and now has started his career in barrel racing. Frenchmans Buck placed 3rd in the Average in the Amateur Division at the 5-State Barrel Futurity in Rapid City, SD in September 2004. Rusty Quam had a great run on Frenchie at Rodeo Royal in Calgary but a tipped barrel took her out of the money. Rusty also ran him at the Diamond N Futurity & Derby for a 3rd place finish in the 1st go and 8th in the average. Frenchie will be running at several more Derbies this summer. Frenchie was also started on the heeling end so watch for him this winter at the team ropings.
